Fredrick Douglass, famous abolitionist, is pictured in center. To his right is Booker T. Washington, founder of Tuskegee Institute. On the bottom left is nationally recognized prolific writer and poet Paul Laurence Dunbar. To his right is writer and newspaper publisher T. Thomas Fortune.
